Who may contact you
The Insurance Guide is an independent referral service — not an insurance company, agency, or government program. When you ask to be contacted, your details go to a licensed insurance agent or agency we partner with in your state, so they can follow up about health insurance options. We only share your information after you give consent.
How the referral works
We publish ACA subsidy estimates and educational content built from public CMS data. The estimate itself needs no email and no signup. If you choose to unlock the full plan-by-plan results — or otherwise ask to be contacted — you check a consent box authorizing a licensed insurance agent or agency in our partner network to reach out about coverage options at the phone number and email you provide.
We are paid a flat referral fee that does not depend on whether you buy anything. We do not solicit, negotiate, or sell insurance, and we do not recommend a specific carrier or plan. Consent is never a condition of using the calculator or buying anything.
Authorized partners
The named licensed agents and agencies authorized to contact you through The Insurance Guide will be listed here. We are still finalizing these partnerships, so the list is not yet populated. Until a named partner appears on this page, no contact details collected through this site are sold or shared with anyone.
When partners are listed, each will be a licensed insurance agent or agency authorized to do business in your state. We only share your information with them after you give consent — and you can revoke that consent at any time.
Your choices
You can revoke consent anytime by replying STOP to a text or emailing privacy@theinsurance.guide. You can also use our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
Important to know
The Insurance Guide is an independent, privately operated website. We are not HealthCare.gov, not a government agency, and not affiliated with any state marketplace. All calculator outputs are estimates for educational purposes — not quotes, advice, or guarantees of eligibility or price. Plan availability and final premiums are determined at enrollment through your state or federal marketplace.
